Time to break out the recipes!

Hey gang - I had promised I'd post this recipe, so here it is! Enjoy!!

Cranberry-Cheese Bread

2 1/2 Cups Flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 packed brown sugar
3 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp vegetable oil
1 1/4 cups milk
1 egg (unhatched) - hahahahaha I had to throw that in
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (6 ozs)
1 cup cranberries (we use a can of chunky cranberry sauce)

Heat oven to 350. Grease 1-2 nine inch loaf pans. Mix all ingredients, and pour into pans. Bake about 65 minutes, or until a knife comes out clean. You can freeze the bread, BUT I suggest that you cut, spread with butter, and eatttttttttttttttttttttt!!!

I would also suggest that for the next ah - week and a half you avoid the grocery store. There tends to be a large amount of psycho people looking for all their Thanksgiving supplies. Just take it as a friendly hint!! ;-)

me likey! WOT make, me eat. i do have to fight WOT for pieces since she likey also. me usually lose fight with WOT, 'soecially over food.

i thought you were telling us to forgo the grocery store because all you eat for the week is the bread. it is super-dense, nearly 19g/cc in technical terms, and thus a little goes a long way.

bon appetit!

MINT CHOCOLATE CHIP BROWNIES

3/4 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2/3 c. butter, melted & divided
1/2 c. boiling water
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. (10 oz. pkg.) mint chocolate chips

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan. In large mixing bowl, combine cocoa and baking soda. Blend in 1/3 cup melted butter. Add boiling water; stir until mixture thickens. Stir in sugar, eggs and remaining 1/3 cup melted butter; stir until smooth. Add flour, vanilla and salt; blend completely. Stir in mint chocolate chips.

Pour into prepared pan. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in pan. Cut into squares. About 36 brownies.
